    How to add a new Author

    There are two main methods to add a new author. If you are the kind of person that likes to have all their prerequisites before they start on the long journey of creating media posts, then method 1 is for you. But if you are, however, the opposite of that and like to just do everything all in one go, then method 2 would suit you best.

    Method 1

    To add a new author, navigate to Authors and click on the ‘Add’

    This will open an ‘Add’ page ready to be populated. 

    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Job Title 
    • Bio
    • Email address 
    • Slug
    • Image 
    • Meta Data

    Method 2

    With this method you have the flexibility to add a new author as you are creating or editing a media post. Simply click the red plus button and an add page for a new author will pop open.

    Once you have added a new author, please note that your latest entry will not be automatically selected, so you will need to click on the drop-down menu and select the author you have just created.
