Saving and setting status

There three main ways to save your media. 

• Draft – draft status saves your media as a non-viable link; it will still be in your media items table, and you can edit it any time you like. 
• Staging – this allows you to save your media into a staging environment, it can then be previewed in your browser and only you can see the item you have created.
• Live - this option publishes your work to your main live site, and it is visible to public. 

You can check the status of your media items in two ways. First you can see it in your media items table. 

Draft is displayed in black, Staging in red and Live in green. 

The second option is to see the status inside the ‘edit’ page for each media, by clicking on the pencil icon.
