What is the Difference Between Categories and Tags?

Categories are set up to group your media posts together, by a common theme or subject. You can view them in the top navigation bar next to the keyword search and their related sub-categories. As well as the categories carousel on the Media Hub landing page, where the reader can see all the latest posts within each category. 

Now here’s the main difference, you can have multiple tags per post, and they reflect the different things that are mentioned throughout the media item. The tags only appear inside the post itself, giving the reader an ability to also click into each one and view all other posts that include that tag.
Additionally, the tags dictate which media items are in the related posts section.
