    Why do the Email Forms Send me Captured Data Twice?

    There's a simple explanation as to why this might happen, to get to the bottom of this, let's go back to the email set up. 

    Every email template you set up, needs to be individually assigned to a data capture module.
    When assigning an email template, aka form to your module, you have two options to choose a main template or a thank you email. 

    To avoid the same email being sent twice, make sure you use different email forms for each trigger.
    Another option is leave the 'Thank you email' section blank if the main email template is created in a thank you email format or no simply is not required. 

    Please note:
    In the example below, both fields have email forms assigned to them so two emails will be sent simultaneously to the same email address.
    You can use either one or the other if you wish to only receive one mail. 




    Helpful Tip:
    You can assign separate email addresses to your email forms, if for example you want 'Main Email Form' to be sent internally, notifying a colleague of a new newsletter subscription. Thus leaving the 'Thank you Email Form' going straight to the user who just signed up for the newsletter.
